Diagnosed, now what?

What should someone newly diagnosed with prostate cancer know? What are the next steps after diagnosis?

  1. If you are newly diagnosed, it may feel overwhelming as you take in all the information about treatment options, risk of potential side-effects, getting a second opinion, and thinking about who you can talk to. As well, you will most likely struggle with how you and/or your partner or family deal with this diagnosis and your emotions.
