I live in a small town so there are only so many choices. One office has several urologists, one of whom I saw for many years following a kidney stone attack. He retired, so I moved to a younger doctor who I’ve seen since my PC diagnosis. He was trained on the DaVinci robot for surgery. In case surgery is a possibility, I would look for someone with plenty of robotic surgery experience.

I would ask my doctor for a referral. Consider the gender of the doctor also. You want to be comfortable talking too. Research what ever facility you decide to go to.
