Dad’s Son

My Dad had stage 4 prostate cancer at about 58. I have been getting regular exams since I turned 50 and at 58 I too was diagnosed but with stage 2. My family, doctor, and I decided to have my prostate removed due to family history.

I had nerve sparing robotic surgery and have had no complications. It has been a year now and with Cialis my erections are close to normal, just don’t last as long as before. Leakage was under control within about 2 months.

I work a very strenuous job as a utility worker and have had no problems climbing poles, etc. I am so grateful my wife pushed me for the regular exams and took my family doctors advice to see a urologist after feeling what he described as a small bump on my prostate.
