Freddie Muse Jr. is a prostate cancer survivor diagnosed January 2007, and founder of The Men’s Cancer Network, Inc. located in greater Los Angeles, CA and founded in 2008. The organization provides professional education from qualified licensed doctors. Included in the education are experts from the community that facilitate to the local community churches, health fairs, senior centers, community libraries and cancer support group meetings that all contribute to “Saving Our Men."
In his younger life, Freddie was a professional Chef receiving his formal education and a degree from Los Angeles Trade Technical College, in Culinary Arts.
Freddie is a previous honorable member of Bryant Temple A.M.E. Church where he served as a Lay Leadership H.E.L.P.S. Ministry Coordinator, a Pastor’s Trustee, and member of the Men’s Choir. He is currently an active member, serving at Holman United Methodist Church.
President Muse, uses his inspiring leadership skills and life experiences as a prostate cancer survivor to facilitate the monthly Cancer Support Group Meetings, offering state of the art informative cancer videos, encouragement, community cancer resources, licensed doctor presentations and his unlimited energy at Holman United Methodist Church in Los Angeles, CA.
President Muse has a sentiment and perseverance for dedicated service to the community and any category of cancer survivors.
