Hi . For your protection, we cannot give medical advice over the internet. Also, our patient leaders and community members are from all over the country and, in fact, multiple other countries, so the amount of feedback for any given location will probably be limited. You may want to look for a local prostate cancer support group to see if you can get some feedback on doctors and facilities.
Also, I can't speak to the doctor rating site you mentioned, but, often, if you can find out who other doctors trust or would go to with their issues, it can be a good place to start. My wife, Kelly, was diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis at age two and has had multiple joint replacements. She recently needed a shoulder replacement. The first person we spoke with was her knee surgeon - who would he go to for a shoulder. Next we spoke with general medical staff - the nurses, x-ray techs, etc... who have they seen best results from. Also, of course, we put out feelers to other local patients. The surgeon she used was pretty universally the first name out of people's mouths and we couldn't be happier with the results. Wishing you similar luck in finding someone at your new location. Best, Richard (ProstateCancer.net Team)
