Recent diagnosis late Feb 22. Decided to go the Cyberknife route after discussing it with my Urologist and Oncologist. Had also considered Proton but my Oncologist could do either and felt Cyberknife was a better option. Had fiducials and space OAR placed 2 weeks ago and my final CT and MRI this week. I start the Cyberknife the last week of June. So far I'm feeling positive about my upcoming treatment but must say the fiducials and space OAR was a VERY uncomfortable procedure, That being said the possible outcome is better than the alternative of doing nothing and dying from cancer. I'll keep the forum updated after my treatment is complete which is only 5 straight days and then done. I'll be so glad when this is over.
