Prostatic adenocarcinoma
I am 52 yrs old had psa last yr 8.1 didn't follow up and go this time it was 9.3 so I had biopsy and the results came in Mychart which I've been trying to understand for a week now I go back to urologist tomorrow. Can anyone give me a heads up with this information
Gleason 3+4 - 7
Biopsy of 12 core the right side A.acute inflammation no evidence of carcinoma.
B. Prostatic adenocarcinoma (gleason 3+4 grade 2) in six of six cores (Approximately 50% of total; Gleason pattern 4 compromises 25% of sampled tumor. Perineural invasion present. Code 9

I am glad you are seeing your urologist today to go over the results. I find that trying to figure out results in Mychart can be confusing, since we are not medical professionals.
