Incontinence

radical prostatectomy

After radical prostatectomy surgery, I had a blood clot in my left leg and a couple of days after discharge from the hospital developed an embolism in my lungs, spent 18 days in the hospital while taking a blood thinner to help with the embolism. Sent home and a day later I couldn’t urinate due to blood clots in my bladder. Went to the emergency room with extreme pain in my groin, and the nurse used two catheters to try and alleviate the pain. Spent a week in the hospital while taking blood thinners and flushing my catheter and bladder.

removing blood clots from bladder

Finally, a urologist came in and used different sizes of catheters to flush out all the blood clots from my bladder. It’s been 2 years since my surgery and I still suffering from incontinence. Been using pads ever since and doing the Kegels exercises. Also, have been dealing with ED, stress, and depression, feeling less than a man and is frustrating to both my wife and me.
