My Journey

Diagnosed with prostate cancer

I was diagnosed about a year ago. My urologist performed a TURP after a failed Urolift. A Gleason score of 9. Metastatic to the pelvic bone. I had 30 radiation treatments. And so far 2 Lupron injections. My last PSA was undetectable. As if that wasn't enough, on May 29th I had a near-death experience with bacterial meningitis. Followed by a Stroke. I spent 28 days in the hospital, part of which was rehab. This has not been a good year. I will be 83 in Nov. 🙏
