My prostate

Prostate cancer diagnosis

I was 62yrs old and diagnosed with a 9-8 score on my PSA test, was told need to remove my prostate. NOW!
It was a shock to hear, after being tested twice a year for PSA, that it was cancer. But, was recommended by A Dr. at Mayo Clinic. But, I heard about Proton Therapy and chose to go with them, 40 treatments, 40 days every day. I drove round trip every day 160 miles a day. That was a lot of thinking and worrying, to say the least, and a lot of anxiety came with it.

Managing pain and side-effects

I’ve been in a lot of pain and I go to pee about every 15 min. Still today! Nobody seems to know what to do, I have tried all the medications and no help. I have had 40 days of hyperbaric treatments and 12 weeks of electric stimulations, medical marijuana, for pain and rest, oxycodone, and pain and I’m still no better off, 6 times or more at night to pee and pooping is irregular as well. I watch my diet and consumption of liquids, as well. CAN ANYONE HELP ME with good info???
