My second visit

Sense of urgency

The doctor spoke to me on the second visit in a very forceful manner. He State unequivocally that I would be dead in three months if I did not do anything about it! My son of forty was there with his wife. I fear it was more traumatic for them. A had s falsely held beliefs that, my daughter-in-law would help to remember what had transpired. I did not know it was state law at the time that Drs. Notes were available as soon as publish could be requested by the patient!

Prostate cancer diagnosis

So I was flying blind .for I knew not what to ask my daughter-in-law of what had transpired at that meeting except the word CANCER. My son was in a strange way for he has had life-threatening Kidney problems since the age of 14! He received a kidney from me. As it was so close a match to me it created the same reaction to his body focal .he lost that kidney in a yr.

Son's cancer experience

He was not eligible to be on the transplant list for five years for he had an added problem melanoma on his back. What a horrible thing to happen to my beloved son so he stoically did peritoneal dialysis for five years to be eligible for a kidney transplant. A long wait for a young man. He eventually became bitter but PERSEVERED and struggled with his prison of being disabled and no one could see it!
This was early in his life, and he has carried this ever since!

Bad bedside manner

I knew NOT how to help him. So I was not prepared for a Dr of oncology To say what he did to me! He said that if I did not do something I would be dead in... three months! It was my first experience in his money-making factory for cruel gauntlet type of treatment in his MONEY-making cancer treatment facility! How was I to accept this cruel beside manner! This was a blessing in disguise! As you may already know! Later for more of my angry journey!
