Radical Prostatectomy

Due to my family history of cancer, I chose the surgery.

My diagnosis

It was a stroke of luck I went to the Urologist. My physiatrist asked how I was doing in general. I told him my psa went up some but they (internist) think it’s ok but keeping an eye on it. The physiatrist demanded I go to the urologist. Then I had the biopsy done (be put to sleep for test) & I had cancer. The message is to get tested & don’t wait to see a urologist if there is any question. Yes, there are drawbacks as far as sexual performance but I’m alive.
