Increased desire for orgasm after surgery

I feel, that since my surgery, I want to have an orgasm more than before. Of course, I have the feeling of orgasm but I spray urine during orgasm. I am doing this while masturbating in the shower but nonetheless, I wish my bladder was in more control. When I go for an exercise walk I have to go on a route that allows for frequent urination. This becomes a problem if I am not in a convenient location.

I’m told bladder control will return, when is the big question. As for sex my mind wants it but my body is like who? What? And difficult to get aroused. Taking sildenafil and ordered pump to “exercise” my friend

I’m 3 weeks out from surgery. Dr. Prescribed me Tadalafil 5mg daily. Started gentle pumping this week… not to full erection… maybe I’ll wait until 4 weeks for that. Just taking little steps at the time to get the blood flowing. Will try full erection and a ring to hold it next week and see how that feels. The crazy things we do to avoid dying from cancer huh? But I’ve really gone through a fast education on pumps, rings, and all the funky sex toys that are out there. In discussions with my wife, she said, “maybe you should get one of those vibrating rings?” Lol. I will!

<inline-mention username="CommunityMember445" user-id="4744577"/> We get a number of new guys in our support group who following surgery express concerns over when will they regain urine control. The advice no one wants to hear is - be patient and continue to do Kegel exercises. The protocol suggested here by our MD's ( and yours may be different) is 10 contractions 4 times a day. It helps if you can set a regular time schedule or at events such as after Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and going to Bed for the night . If you overdue the exercises you can easily experience muscle fatigue and more leaking. Men who have followed the protocol can become dry in month, while others have taken 6 months to a year. If you continue to leak heavily after a few months speak with your urologist. Again we are all different. I often suspect that stress has a lot to do with it. Most likely what you will experience is being dry at night followed by being dry in waking hours. Also helps to avoid drinking water etc in the evening and cutting back on stimulants like coffee and adult beverages ( both of which can increased urination) Hope this helps some - Been there as well. Given you have just been through major surgery and your internal re-connections are rather new --- To me your cautions appear to be well thought out. What I discovered on my journey was things began to work on their own in a few weeks vs my trying to force the event and potentially creating a long term issue. As always one is always well advised to check with their medical providers on the best way to proceed. quoteinteresting
