Twice the worries

Multiple cancer worries

I was diagnosed with prostate cancer after a PSA of 24.5 and 16 biopsies all showing cancer. I had to have a ct to see if the prostate cancer had spread. The scan showed that the spot on my liver was not from the prostate but a liver cancer. I had to have the liver attended to before they would do anything for the aggressive prostate cancer. After having a liver ablation that got rid of the liver carcinoma I started 6 weeks of radiation. I also take lupron depot shots every 6 months and abiraterone, 4 tablets daily with prednisone x2. All went well except for the side effects. Presently my PSA is at zero but I am having leg and arm weakness. I do not know if the medications can be causing the fault but I'm beginning to have anxiety worrying about if something else is going on. Cancer radiologists and oncology Drs seem to feel that I will be on this medicine for a couple of years. I don't know if I can continue as they would like if the leg and arm weakness gets any worse. I strongly feel that these medications are the cause of muscle weakness and joint pain. If anyone has taken these meds and has suffered muscle weakness please let me know.
