I was found to have PSA5 .5 in the Summer of 2019.

The doctor

Referred to Urologist. Referred by him to hospital for Biopsy of Prostate. Frightening episode, no pre-OP sanitation precautions. 12 punctures of the Prostate through the rectum wall. Result was profuse bleeding and 6 weeks of UTI. This has to be experienced to be believed. I should have stopped then and taken a second opinion, but sadly, I didn't.

Results and side effects

Results were gleason 3+3 and 4+3...shit! The 4+3 sent me on a journey. I felt that I was being treated by Dr.Mengele or one of his Acolytes. 37 days of Radiation torture to achieve total Castration. No erections evermore and no orgasms evermore. Lifelong diarrhea, lifelong rectal bleeding, and RT Proctitis. I will always feel that I was punished for being old, by a radiation oncologist in St James Hospital in Dublin who was a woman. I still wonder if she even knows what damage she is doing to men. I confess that I accused her of destroying old men. I cannot thank the medical system of Ireland for the Barbaric treatment I received. I should have chosen immediate death rather than the living death I now have to endure. William.
