Yoga

Have always been very physically active - gym (6 days a week - 2 hours). Roughly 15 years ago I underwent a spinal fusion.

Yoga and prostate cancer

Started going to PT as part of recovery from fusion surgery. Still go 2-3 days a week, 2 hours each session.) My PT incorporated yoga into my workouts for stretching and muscle toning. Seven years post RP, slowly rising PSA 0.59. Happy I still “workout” as it’s part of who I am since I was a teenager - helps me feel almost normal / like I have some control. Yoga types vary: mine focuses on strengthening, body alignment, and pain management.
