Blood in urine
Stage 3 prostate cancer in 2016, treated with Lupron, external beam radiation, and Brachytherapy. About 3 weeks ago I started having irritation with urinating, then I had an instance of heavy blood and clots in urine. Had three more instances of heavy blood, irritation continued but less. No blood for the last 2 weeks. The culture was negative for infection and had a CT scan which inconclusive. Going to have a scope done but the first available is 12/4. Anyone had similar issues and been diagnosed? Thanks!

Dennis (ProstateCancer.net Team)I had a scoping done last week, no sign of cancer spread found and diagnosis was that radiation treatment had weakened my bladder walls and that I may see periodic bleeding events. Not a major concern and good news. I just need to keep an eye on it and as long as bleeding is periodic just need annual followup. Thanks, Brad.
