kidney blockage after prostatectomy
I had a robotic prostatectomy 3 weeks ago which resulted in a kidney blockage/failure. The whole thing has turned into a nightmare with another surgery planned for next week to replant the ureters. The surgeon is highly experienced and reputable. I am just trying to understand what happened, I cannot find anything about kidney blockage as a potential complication of this surgery. Not a single case. Just wondering if anyone is familiar with this issue or had a similar experience. Thanks.
I am sorry to learn of your situation. I have faced many issues with my personal PCa treatment journey along with those many men in my support group -- a kidney blockage is a new one for me. Not that it has not happened to someone else.
We can have different outcomes regarding various treatment protocols and the expertise levels of those administering them.
