thanks for the clarification. I am glad to hear the doctor is retesting again. Are you concerned about the treatment plan that the doctor wants to do? Jill, prostatecancer.net team

As someone who has been in your situation let me describe my journey. I was diagnosed with a Gleason 9 in 2012 with no evidence of spread. I had surgery and my post op PSA score was 0.02. Over time (5 years) it moved up to 0.13 and my urologist at the time suggested I undergo radiation and ADT before it hit 0.20 . I did radiation 40 treatments and a 6 month Lupron shot. It disappeared for another 5 years . Today the folks at my state wide hospital suggest men are treated before a post op test is 0.1 . Now another few years have passed and I just underwent 5 treatments for yet another PCa spot this time it was found with an advanced scan. Once again it has been treated and hopefully gone. For ow long i have no idea but for now its ok.
No one can give you an answer if you should treat or not. We are all unique particularly as it concerns your disease in your body . IF I had it to do over i would opt for treatment ASAP - that said it is your call on the next steps. I have come to the personal conclusion that waiting for some unknown signal to chime is not a path I want to follow ... Good luck and God Bless Dennis(ProstateCancer.net TEAM)
