I am 61 years old. I had a radical prostatectomy in April ‘19, three days after my birthday. For over 2 years my PSA had a baseline of .014. In July of ‘22 it was .029. In February ‘22 my PSA was .041. This past July it was .056. My doctor recommended continued surveillance until my next appointment in February. The anxiety of waiting and the unknown has the most difficult part of my journey. I went to my personal physician and requested a referral to MD Anderson. If I am going to require additional treatment, I’d prefer not to wait. I am waiting for the referral response. This is the first time I’ve been on this site and wished I would been have here through out my journey.
