SpaceOAR use after surgical prostatectomy
There seems to be very little information about spacer use after surgical prostatectomy and then the need for radiation therapy. Since the prostate has been removed where is th spacer placed?
I can’t tell you exactly where, but I had it placed in me before radiation and it protected my colon. It was a nobrainer and so glad I had it done. Good luck.
And you did have surgical prostatectomy?
