Gleason 7 is on the edge - not a 6 that often does not require treatment and not a 8 or 9 or 10 where it is aggressive. The problem with all of the literature and the internet articles is ....we are all different and react in different ways to the same treatments.
Best is consult with your MD and try not to compare yourself with others. Your Prostate Cancer is unique to you just like your fingerprints are unique to you.
I was diagnosed with a Gleason 9 and had surgery. My cancer came back 5 years later. A guy in my support group had the same surgery, same surgeon and same 9 score . To this day it never came back.
Just stay on top of it and take it one day at a time and enjoy life --- is my suggestion Dennis(ProstateCancer.net TEAM)
