Insurance Coverage of PSA Tests POST-Treatment?

Rather than wait on hold forever with my insurance company, can anyone confirm what is the 'typical' coverage for post-treatment PSA tests for gold and platinum plans with most private insurance companies?

I've gotten PSA Tests every 3 months for a little over a year now post-prostatectomy and I've had to pay $0. Although during the first 6 months I already met my maximum out of pocket but even the next year after two tests, no bill.

  1. Hi I hear you, waiting on hold forever is really annoying. However, I don't think we can answer this for you as every insurance policy is different and there are so many variables. I hope you can get an answer from your insurance company soon. Jill, prostatecancer.net team
