New to Forum-Need Advice on protocol

Hi All,

Just turned 70 and visited pcp for back pain. While there he did a physical since I hadn't seen him since before covid. Found nodule on right side of prostate and did PSA which was 26.

Saw urologist yesterday who confirmed nodule and scheduled biopsy for 10/18. My real question is is this a safe period of time to wait for the biopsy or should I find someone else that can do it quicker?

I don't really have any urinary issues or other symptoms other than my back pain that seems to be sciatica but I do feel an uncomfortable feeling in the prostate area like pressure, maybe from swelling.

I've read some of the posts and this seems like a great place for info and support. I appreciate any suggestions offered.
