No erections

Ten years ago at age 65 I was diagnosed with Gleason 7 (4+3) . Had robotic prostatectomy. Was able to have a fairly decent erection (not like when I was 25). As my PSA continued to rise after surgery, I had 38 radiation treatments 9 years ago. Since the radiation, absolutely no erections or any kind of hardening. Tried ED pills, nothing. Injections gave very inconsistent results - sometimes decent erections, sometimes nothing at all. I use the pump. It works but is messy and sometimes it hurts. I will have an orgasm, but very often with what is some sort of fluid leaking out. It doesn't look or smell like urine, more like clear water. Even if I just hug my wife, the fluid starts to flow. Sometimes a steady stream. Makes for very messy and uncomfortable lovemaking.

  1. Of course, consult medical professional before listening to me. Inconstant injection results I would guess are from not injecting properly. I have been doing it for over a year, and although it is very rare, there have been times it just does not get into the proper place. Can't imagine your fluid is anything but urine, which can be clear. I have some leakage too and try to stay a little dehydrated before sex and squeeze out every last drop I can right up to the moment before and keep a handful of tissues handy. Works out for me. Kegels I think are important too.

    1. Having had some similar experiences I can relate to what you are noticing. After surgery I was able to function sexually. After radiation things changed an I experienced a clear discharge as well. I am not an MD and I suspect when your muscles relax you are getting a urine discharge. What i found helpful was to use a condom when sexually active. And I will say Kegels are very important to keep up. I had my surgery in 2013 and its now 2022 and Kegels are still part of my daily routine
