Orgasm... How soon?

It's 3 weeks since my prostatectomy. I've been taking Cialis and pumping for 2 weeks now. During the course of pumping I have an urge to climax, but I don't let myself. I'm happy thinking it's a good sign of things to come, but I'm also curious about whether or not it's advisable to go there at this point. I've searched all over the internet and there's not a lot of information that specifically addresses how long a man should wait after surgery. I did find something that said wait three or four weeks to have sexual activity. I saw another one that said at least 6 weeks. And I found another one that said there is no time limit, let it rip whenever you can.

  1. Tap tap tap..... is this thing on?

    1. @holzwurst, I'm sure everyone is different in that category. I spoke with a couple of men and they gave me this answer. If you didn't have any complications, you can probably have sex a couple of weeks after undergoing radiation. Or one month or so after undergoing surgery for a radical prostatectomy. Everyone is different and responds differently. This might also be a question for your doctor. Thanks for sharing and being a part of this community. Diane (Team Member)

  2. I think I first attempted at about a month… but couldn’t make it happen. Finally achieved the new orgasm experience at about 6 weeks. It’s a new thing, quite different from being a spewing volcano of pleasure… but still very enjoyable (it must be a lot like what women feel). I’m at about 3-1/2 months now post surgery. Typically only able to achieve the big O while flaccid using vibrator. It’s much more difficult to climax while using pumped erection with ring during intercourse, but it feels good (just no climax) and my wife enjoys getting to hers.
    Good luck to you!
