Salvage Radiation and AUS
My uro has suggested either a sling or an AUS (artificial urinary sphincter) to help with my incontinence. I waver back and forth but before making a decision I wonder what would happen if I had one or the other and then got a recurrence. Would the AUS or sling have to be removed before radiation?
That's an excellent question. Did you ever get an answer, here or elsewhere? I can ask when I see my docs in August. verbs, never got a response.
