What causes PSA to doubling in points every 3-4 weeks.
What causes PSA to double every 3-4 weeks post oral chemo, lupron therapy and now 2 IV chemo injections? Gleason score 8, stage 4 disease that was diagnosed May 2022.

My husband's PSA was 700 at diagnosis abd it dropped down to 0.01 on oral meds and stayed down for close to 24 months but then it started to climb. He had a pet scan and minimal spread of cancer to all areas but pelvic lymph nodes showed sl enlargement. His care is beyond belief treated at a satelletote Clinic of a large Cleveland Hospital which is 5 minutes from our home. We are blessed. Did I mention we celebrated our 45 wedding anniversary this past May! happy anniversary!! 45 years together, that is amazing.
