what to expect

I am 77yoa and have been told I have a 3-4 on Gleason...my PSA has been hovering around + or - 10 for the last several years but was told by a former urologist that it was high due to drugs I was taking. what should i be looking out for from this day forward??????????????

  1. I do not understand your PSA of plus or minus 10 but if you have a 3 or 4 on Gleason, that seems like good news but I suspect you meant to say 3+4 which is Gleason 7. Gleason scores of 7 are still considered relatively low-grade and rarely result in death within ten years of diagnosis.

Still, maybe you should try to get a second opinion from a medical oncologist.
