Do I have to get ALL the side effects ?????????????

Who out there seems to get a majority of side effects besides me ? I can't be the only one. Then again , I don't wish any of this for anyone .

  1. Sad that you are getting the majority of side effects, but you're not alone. My daughter who has been battling breast cancer had a mastectomy earlier this year with reconstruction. Some of the skin for the reconstruction process died so she had to repeat that surgery within a week of the initial one. When she had her port installed for chemo, she had an infection. A few weeks later, she had a blood clot in her jugular from the port. And on and on. But the good news is she's still here and still fighting. While it's hard to experience the many horrible effects of treatment, try to keep the outcome in mind - cancer free or cancer halted. Best wishes.

    1. Thank you for the best wishes. Sometimes it is hard to see the end game .

      1. Hi . Know that many men here get it. With prostate cancer the side effects are a big part of the story and one that doctors often don't talk enough about. It is great that they often have their eyes on treating the cancer, but it is understandable that dealing with the side effects matters. Best, Richard (ProstateCancer.net Team)

      2. I certainly understand that. And I hope you didn't think I was making light of your situation and what you're going through. I wasn't. With my husband's cancer battle and now my daughter's cancer battle, I try to keep myself as upbeat as I can. And that can be a big a struggle in and of itself even when trying to keep the end game in mind.

    2. Thank You , I still think and hope men get more information.
