Hi . The good news is that Gleason 7 is considered relatively slow growing and leaves a number of options for treatment. I need to note that we are not medical professionals and, for your protection cannot provide medical advice over the internet. You mentioned the seeds or brachytherapy and here are a couple of community members commenting on their experiences: https://prostatecancer.net/stories/my-journey-to-date and https://prostatecancer.net/stories/roller-coaster-choosing (be sure to check out the comment sections as well). I'm not sure if you medical conditions would impact treatment. I can tell you my father-in-law had Afib and is diabetic and the doctor did not want him having the surgery. He had a combination of Cyberknife radiation and traditional radiation and has now been good for six years. Hopefully others will chime in with their experiences. Wishing you the best and please feel free to keep us posted on how you are doing and to ask additional questions. Richard (Team Member)
