Ivermectin

Curious if anyone is using Ivermectin. A friend sent me this which I found very interesting.

I'm 15 miles from Tennessee.

I remember all the noise about ivermectin during covid and I'm not big on crackpot remedies but two things in this got my attention:

1. It won't hurt you.
2. It had a dramatic impact on one patient who had been given weeks to live.
3. It won't hurt you. I assume dosage is important.
4. It's out of pocket. Insurance won't cover it.

I have an appt with my GP next month and will discuss it with him.

I'm currently between urologists because my guy retired and I fired his group after my portal message did not get returned for over 2 weeks. Waiting on records to be transferred to a new guy. We'll see.

  1. Hi I couldn't find any information on our site about Ivermectin. I am glad you have an appointment coming up so that you can discuss this with your doctor. Please keep us posted. Jill (Team Member)

    1. There is a ton of anecdotal evidence concerning ivermectin and fenbendozole being used to treat various cancers. There is no doubt that Vets use it to treat cancers in animals with very positive results. Watch the video that is attached. I have prostate cancer and after several years with my urologist for various reasons I have decided to give it a try.....I have been on it for 2 months now and will continue until I go in for my next PSA test at the end of July 2025 and will report back here with my results.

      1. I don't see the attachment? What dose are you taking?

        1. Hi . There is some research leading to hope that benzimidazoles, such as fenbendazole, can be effective in treating some cancers (see: https://ar.iiarjournals.org/content/44/9/3725). However, as noted in the article "Since fenbendazole is not currently approved by the FDA or EMA, its pharmacokinetics and safety in humans have yet to be well-documented in medical literature." The authors "evaluated the toxicity profile of fenbendazole and discussed possibilities for improving the bioavailability of the drug, enhancing its efficacy, and reducing potential toxicity," but more work, including clinical trials, is necessary to determine efficacy and safety levels.
