My Journey Stage 4

I was diagnosed with stage 4 Prostate Cancer in November 2017 . My Urologist said he thought I would be a good candidate for a specific clinical trail . (Blind trial with a placebo and the experimental drug.) My Oncologist agreed and I was accepted in January of 2018 . After 6 sessions of chemo and ADT. I began my journey ,fast forward to today . The clinical trial is over and I received the experimental drug which I still take along with ADT(Lupron) every 6 months .
I am a Christian with a strong faith in Jesus and God who I give all the credit too for carrying me through this journey .

  1. I am in similar situation but diagnosed 2 weeks ago. wishing you best of luck.

    1. Hi . Glad this treatment has worked well for you and thank you for sharing. It is so great for men to hear that there are more effective treatments on the way. Clinical trials play such an important role in advancing the state of care. Permit me this opportunity to post for everyone out there this article from our editorial team on the types of clinical trials: https://prostatecancer.net/clinical/clinical-trials-types. Wishing you the best. Richard (ProstateCancer.net Team)
