how many shot you take every 3 month and for how long
- hi there! I wanted to clarify for the community so others can jump in to share their experience. What types of shots are you referring to? ADT? Thanks for being part of this community. 
I was given ONE - 6 month shot of Lupron (an ADT drug) 4 weeks prior to undergoing 40 radiation treatments for a retuning cancer after surgery 5 years earlier - If you are interested you can visit www.TheProstateCancerCoach.com where you can find a video journal of my 8 week treatment journey .
ADT does not kill the cancer rather slows it down - (puts the cancer to sleep for a while) how long you are on ADT ] depends on your MD and how your body reacts. Over time the cancer will develop a resistance to ADT and return. Hope this info helps. Dennis(ProstateCancer.net TEAM)
