One hormone injection before radiation
Curious what the experiences are for having just one hormone injection before radiation and how much time elapsed between the injection and the start of radiation? Have not seen the radiation oncologist yet but this was suggested as a possible avenue.

I can't personally speak to this experience, but our contributor Dennis wrote about his one shot prior to radiation here, along with information about androgen deprivation therapy in general: https://prostatecancer.net/living/discussing-adt-treatment. I can also tell you that it is not uncommon for there to be continuing ADT during the course of treatment, although this would be something to ask your doctor about in relation to the specifics of your case.
