ORGOVYX

Is anyone taking ORGOVYX and if so what should I expect.

  1. There are a number of threads on this topic but Orgovyx is not bad at least from my perspective having taken it for only 2 months. Libido loss is fairly fast (2 to 3 weeks). Hot flashes also begin in this approximate timing. My sugars went a bit wild but, mostly, my side effects were minor. Everyone's experience is different though. The really nice part of Orgovyx is how fast it acts and how fast the testosterone returns once it stops. I have seen several references to the return of puberty's need desperation. I certainly experienced that within a month of stopping Orgovyx.

    1. Hey - I see gave some personal experience with Orgovyx already, so I wanted to hop in to share one of our articles here that goes over this option in case it might be helpful for you. As with many treatment options, I've seen mixed responses from community members here so always good to chat with your doctor about implications/side effects/etc. and monitor how things progress. Have you already started this treatment or just exploring options?

      Here's the article I had mentioned: https://prostatecancer.net/treatment/orgovyx-relugolix-facts-side-effects.

      1. The only thing I can report for certain is the hot flashes. I was eating dinner and I just started to sweat. The first place to perspire was in between my fingers. Droplets were forming on my skin and it unsettled me until I remembered reading about hot flashes. I'm in my 3rd month with it and the only other thing that might possibly be attributed to the Orgovyx is lower back pain. But I can't point the finger because this has been the norm for me for, probably 20 years. I've had some minor joint pain but, again, that's been normal for a while.
Oh, yeah! I tend to cry during "rom-coms". (JK).
