Prostate cancer diagnosis and experience
Got the news last August from my Urologist. Went off to hide & sulk, I am 79 yrs old, what chance do i have? Sought 2nd& 3rd opinions. Choose Memorial Sloan Kettering for my treatment. Had Radiation every day for 7 weeks on hormone deprivation; it's brutal, Hot flashes, night sweets, fatigue & loss of will . This is only a number of my serious conditions, it's a struggle, but I won't give up. Due in August for a re-evaluation, hope the news is good, not ready for the long sleep!!
