The Battle continues
I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in March 2007.
prostate cancer treatment
I underwent surgery in September the same year. nine years went by ad all was good. In September 2017 cancer has raised its ugly head again. In January 2018 I had 28 treatments of radiation and Lupron. all was good for a couple of years and here we go again.
PSA rising again
PSA rose from .01 to 1.7. In September of last year, I started Lupron again and my PSA was undetectable once again. I had a PSA test done in March of this year and my PSA was still undetectable. We decided not to take another dose of Luron to see if my PSA would rise again. I have taken every test possible to see if cancer could be located. We are hoping that the new Pet scan imaging can detect it.
