The long and winding road

Prostate Cancer Journey

I would not wish anyone to get a prostate cancer diagnosis. It's tough, it's unbelievable. I had an annual physical for years. I used a testosterone gel for years. The doctor watched my PSA carefully for years. It was normal. Then I had a PSA of 7.5. The doctor made an appointment to see a urologist.

Rising PSA

The PSA came up 9.5 and normal feelings are--just large. I was then sent to get a biopsy and the result was rt side benign and the left side was cancerous. The cancer was aggressive and I choose to have surgery to remove the prostate. To be continued.
