Unconditional Love

Partnership and prostate cancer

I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in January of 2022. My wife was at the appointment when the news was given. She stated I am here with you through all of this. We went to a major hospital in Chicago where we received the news prostate removal was not for me. I had an MRI and the findings were almost the entire prostate had cancer which was at the intermediate stage. We chose to do radiation which was the only choice. My wife went with me to every appointment and radiation session. She even understood when I became weak during the sessions.
Now, my PSA is undetecable, but I am have problems with post radiation cystitis. She is still there for me. Even with her own health problems she is still very loving. Well she is going for a knee replacement and I hope to be able to show unconditional love toward her as she has done throughout my fight with prostate cancer!
