I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in my mid 40s, at a stage in life when I was focused on career growth, raising young children, and building a future. Like many men, I felt unprepared for the emotional, physical, and identity challenges that followed treatment. Today, I remain grateful to be living with no evidence of disease and committed to using my experience to help others navigate this journey with greater clarity and support.

Since my diagnosis, I have had the honor to lead The Reluctant Brotherhood, an international nonprofit support community for men impacted by prostate cancer and their loved ones. I also write, speak, and create educational content focused on survivorship, masculinity, relationships, and life after treatment. My work aims to normalize conversations men often avoid and to encourage earlier screening and informed decision-making.

In my experience, too many men delay care because of fear, stigma, or lack of awareness. Prostate cancer does not only affect the body—it touches identity, intimacy, and mental health. Early detection and community support can make a profound difference. My mission is simple: help men feel less alone, more informed, and empowered to take ownership of their health.
