Active Surveillance was my course of action

What ever course of action you choose make sure you, your loved ones, and your urologist take a deep dive into all options.
Research your options, ask a lot of questions.
I've done Active Surveillance for 9 years. That has included regular examinations and 2 biopsies and an MRI.
Talk to people about your story. Encourage men to have an annual PSA blood test. Tell men that early detection is critical in successfully treating prostate cancer. If there's a family history, if you're African-American, if you're a Vietnam Veteran, if you spent time at Camp Lejeune, and when you reach 45 years old. Get your PSA blood test.
DO NOT keep your diagnosis a secret, save someone else's life as well as your own.Holiday Greeting on Concord Community TV. Prostate Cancer Awareness video
