Husbands prostate cancer returned

My husband had prostate cancer in the early 2000’s.
It was stage 1 with a PSA of 7.
He opted to have radiation seeds implanted and his numbers were good until about 3 years ago when they began to creep up.
Family Doctor said to watch and wait, but we were a bit nervous about it but we waited.
Then at the beginning of this year it went to 2.
Went back to Cancer Doctor( his Doctor had passed away).
Brent is 75, this Doctor who we do like suggested again watching as it is a slow growing cancer.
But now it’s gone up to a 4.
We have an appointment tomorrow to see what her says.
He already said they could not take it out, but that we could consider hormone therapy.
Just wondering if anyone knows more info than we do about treatment options?
