sense of urgency when laying on back
2 years since surgery. For past year I've been getting this sensation immediate need to urinate when I lay on my back. Feeling goes immediately away if I get up or turn on my side; and then returns immediately as soon as I turn on my back. Is definitely effecting my sleep since I'm normally a back sleeper.
I told my surgeon about this and he said he never heard of that being a post-surgery issue. Had a bladder scope and nothing out of normal. Haven't read of anyone else who has experienced this.
I read about your symptoms and wanted you to know that I would normally sleep on my left or right side, but having had external beam radiotherapy 10 months ago, I now get extreme urges to urinate if I move or turn in my sleep (change position). Now the only way I can sleep for more than 2.5 hours is lying on my back.
Has the situation improved for you over the last few months?
