Did your diagnosis come as a surprise? Share what it was like, and what stage of prostate cancer you were diagnosed with.
I had been monitored very closely for years so when cancer was finally confirmed it wasn’t a big surprise but it was still deeply disturbing. As I learned what was going on and that the disease was stage 2, I realized I had options and my fear changed to resolve. 2 years after SBRT my PSA is 0.04 and side effects have been minimal. To say I'm grateful doesn’t begin to describe how I feel.
