Diagnosed with localized prostate cancer.
6/5/2025 , PSA 5, MRI showed lesion on prostate. Trans perennial biopsy resulted in 4 cores out of 13 positive with Gleason 8 and 9.
Treatment: Orgovyx and IMRT 45 sessions with Gel spacers and markers. Orgovyx side effects: Some hot flashes in the morning lasting 30 seconds, testicle shrinkage, no desire for sex. Can achieve an erection with Viagra and have a dry orgasm. Waited 3 months after treatment for PSA test, 2/18/2026:
Result, PSA undetectable. I still need to stay on Orgovyx for another year and get PSA every 3 to 6 months. So far so good. For my particular case this treatment seems to be working for me. I am 74.
