Bloat after surgery

My surgery was Monday, was extremely bloated following the procedure. Produced a lot of shoulder, blade and upper back pain which I understand is totally normal. Today is Friday, and I am still feeling very bloated with the upper back muscle spasms being quiet intense. No fever, minimal pain comparatively. Wondering how long the bloat has lasted with those who had prostatectomy?
