  1. Hi . The anxiety is certainly understandable. One of our community members wrote here about the anxiety of the the first year of diagnosis: https://prostatecancer.net/living/overcoming-anxiety-stress. Also, I wrote you under a different post just a little bit ago with some information for the newly diagnosed. One of the main things I will note is that many men find that moving forward and developing a plan can help with feeling less out of control. Best, Richard (Team Member)

    1. thank you for writing, Well I went to the doctor today and he put me on ORGOVYX and two months of radiation, I was thinking it had spread and all kinds of neg. stuff, well when he told me it hasnt spread and no surgery, I was so reliefed, I havent listen to music scent I found out, well today on the way home from the doctor, I listen to music and I was kinda like my old self...... how are you doing ?

    2. Hi . Given that the cancer had not spread, which is great news, you have a number of treatment options available. Did the doctor discuss options? Would radiation have been your first choice? I also want to note that there are different kinds of radiation therapy that you would be eligible for. This article from our editorial team gives an overview of types of treatment, with links to additional information: https://prostatecancer.net/treatment. I just want to make sure you are aware of the options available to you and that you have a chance to ask about the side effects and to choose the best option for you. Hope this information is helpful. Best, Richard (Team Member)
