leakage urinary issues

Had a radical prostatectomy in April. So far, so good on the actual cancer issues. But now my urethra at the tip of my penis is restricted. It was not like this prior to the operation. My urologist, who also did the surgery, is planning a procedure involving a balloon in a few weeks. Has anyone else experienced this? Hope everyone out there is having a good day.

  1. Hi . First, let me say that it is good to hear that things are going well on the cancer front. Second, I can't personally speak on this issue, but are you referring to a balloon used for urethral dilation or for a catheter to help with urine flow/drainage? If you can clarify, hopefully we can get some others with similar experiences. Best, Richard (Team Member)

    1. The balloon is for urethral dilation and then I'll have a catheter for 3 days. Yes, it's for flow/drainage. Thanks
