Okay this is it, here we go...:)

Well it's official now. Gleason score is 9, according to MRI seems to be contained in the prostate. PET scan on the 11th. Had the rectal biopsy - didn't want to - but perineal was going to take too long. So praying they didn't spread it all over...

Both of the urologist centers I have gone to are just medical mills so I'm certain their go to treatment will be full removal (no worries - for them - right?) So I'm going to consult a cyberknife facility that also deals in alternate treatments. Esp. reading all the good times that full removal brings. Yikes.

I have been on 1mg/kg/day - Ivermectin and 222mg/day - Fenbendazole since I found out my PSA was 24 in June. Is/has anyone doing/done the same?

I'm a devout 50yr old Christian so I have no worries about the future 😀 But if I can hang around for a min for my wife and kids that would be good.

Anyone else just getting started?
Thanks guys!
Alex

  1. Hi, I also had an MRI and transperineal biopsy, it showed that the small lesion I had was Gleason 9. I have a PSMA pet scan next Tuesday to determine the stage, MRI seems to show its local. I also have ordered Ivermectin/Mebendazole. I have done a lot of research on it and if it can help in combination with whatever treatment they decide to give me, why not. I'm not advocating this to anyone, this is just what I'm going to do. Sometimes we have to think "out of the box". God bless you and good luck.
